Call of Duty: Ghosts DLC Devastation Released Today for PS3 & PS4
May 29, 2014Call of Duty: Ghosts has finally released its second DLC installment entitled Devastation. Since XBox 360 and XBox One owners have already had the new downloadable content from Activision and Infinity Ward for a few weeks now, owners of the PlayStation 3 and 4 consoles were gnashing their teeth to bite into these digital delights. With four new maps (Ruins, Unearthed, Collision, and Behemoth), a new bonus hybrid weapon (the Ripper), the second installment in the alien Extinction saga called Mayday, and Chaos Mode for all 3 Extinction episodes available to date, this installment in the Ghosts FPS franchise is a real bargain for $14.99.
Toss in a free Predator skin if you pre-ordered the DLC in the Sony PSN store, and there’s no reason not to have bought this. Of course if you are a season pass holder for Ghosts, then it was a free download. I had a few minutes to play quickly through all 4 of the multiplayer maps, the Mayday episode, and chaos mode and I was impressed. The maps were medium to small in size with really nice level designs that seemed to give me a fluid flow as I navigated through each map. When I was able to play at the Predator in the Ruins map after successfully completing a field order, I was instantly hooked. So, don’t wait another moment and grab this game add-on now.
