VROOM – The Art of the Motorcyle is the new exhibit to come to the Forest Lawn Museum. The exhibit began on June 27, 2014, replacing the Masters of Movie Art and Lego Sculpture Exhibits. The exhibit will run until January 4, 2015. This new exhibit features wonderful classic restored motorcycles, motorcycle art, and helmets, among other related pieces spanning two rooms of the museum. Here is the official description from the Forest Lawn Museum website:

Vroom: The Art of the Motorcycle is a meticulously curated exhibition that will offer an in-depth look at the dynamic history of motorcycle culture, featuring some of the most beautiful, historic, rare and collectable vintage motorcycles; one-of-a-kind hand-painted motorcycle helmets, previously worn by world and national racing champions; painted motorcycle gas tanks and fenders; as well as paintings, sculpture and photographs by a dozen of today’s most celebrated motorcycle artists—many of whom are Southern California natives and/or residents.

Best of all, there are no reservations and both the exhibits and the parking are completely free. This is a perfect summer day trip for the kids while they are out of school or for the motorcycle enthusiast. The address is 1712 S. Glendale Avenue, Glendale, CA 91205.
